April 2006 - First Annual Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner, drawing over 260 people.
April 2006 – Petitioned and received permission to rename Piner Stadium to Jim Underhill Stadium.
September 2006 – Raised over $15,000 for a new scoreboard, a stadium dedication plaque and field dedication ceremony.
December 2006 – With the permission of the Piner HS Administration accepted $10,000 seed money to start Jim Underhill Stadium Lights fundraising.
February 2007 – Helped established Piner’s First Annual Crab Feed, an event that has generated over $26,000 income its first two years.
Fall 2007 – Established Piner’s first stadium lights fundraiser, our Tri-tip and Prawns Dinner with Silent/Live auctions.
January 2010 - Recieved permission from School Board to begin EIR for stadium lights.
May 2011 - School board certified EIR and approved lights for Piner pending a viable financial plan for repayment. |
